Brady’s Hope
We serve as a forum to provide the communities of Carroll County, Indiana with the information and resources to help them make the choice of a drug free life while providing resources for family members and/or friends who are involved in the battle to defeat drug abuse.
Brady’s Hope is a nonprofit organization under
the Flora Community Club.
The Flora Community Club is a nonprofit §501(c)(3) charity.
Flora Depot Restoration Project
In its heyday, the Flora railroad depot served eight passenger trains a day. The last passenger train rolled through in 1958, fifty years after the depot was built.
The Flora depot will get another chance at serving the community if Flora Main Street and Flora Community Club are successful in their vision.
The vision of the depot committee includes restoring the depot to its original state as much as possible, using historic Flora items and rotating exhibits. To keep the space selfsufficient, the depot will also serve as a meeting space for small groups, complete with a kitchenette and restrooms. Before plans can be finalized, the depot committee is trying to contact people for information about the depot’s original interior. Anyone with pictures, descriptions, or drawings is asked to contact Julia Leahy, Dennis Kern, Curt Hufty, or Melissa Bishop.

Farmers Market of Carroll County
At the Farmers Market of Carroll County you will find the locally grown seasonal produce complemented by less seasonal food products like honey, meats, dairy products, flowers, cheese, breads, and pastries.
You will also find herb, garden plants, and food products (like maple syrup, fermented foods, salad dressings) as well as a wide selection of ready to eat food to enjoy while you shop.
