2020 Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting ~ December 5
Miriam Robeson / 0 Comments /It’s time to get ready for the 2020 Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony! Mark your calendars and get your floats ready for this year’s parade! We are all ready to get out of the house and celebrate the coming Christmas season.
Christmas Parade
Parade lineup starts at 4:00 pm and the parade starts at 5:00 pm. Registration and lineup at TTG office (formerly Tri-Green Tractor) and the parade route will end at the Depot with a tree-lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa.
This year’s theme is “The Year We Stayed Gnome” = a tongue-in-cheek look back at the not-so-fun year we’ve had. Deck out your float with what “The Year We Stayed Gnome” might mean to you!
We are also encouraging LIGHTS this year – the parade will be at dusk and we would like to you LIGHT UP your float!
Check out this PINTEREST link for some ideas.
Or check out this WIKI HOW for a step-by-step guide to lighting your float.

Food & Toy Drive
In the true spirit of Christmas, there will also be a Food Drive and a Toy Drive on the day of the Christmas Parade!
Items will be collected at the parade registration point, which is at the corner of Will & Clark streets by Tri-Green Tractor. The parade group that donates the most toys on the day of the parade will be awarded the Biggest Giver!
You can also drop off your donations before the parade to Flowers & Friends or First Farmers Bank & Trust.
