2015 Annual Christmas Parade a Snowy Success
Miriam Robeson / 0 Comments /The 2015 Annual Flora Christmas Parade was held on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Thirty-eight entries walked the parade route in the “North Pole Fantasy” themed event. We even had an appearance of snow to complete the effect. It was a winter wonderland sponsored by the Flora Community Club and led by this year’s Grand Marshall Pat Meade.
The Parade Winners were:
- Best Motorized Group – Flora Volunteer Fire Department
- Best Description of the Theme – Scout Troop 109
- Best Float – Day of Grace
- Best Walking Group – Flora Lions Club
- Most Entertaining – Carroll FFA
- Biggest Giver to the Toy Drive – Valley View Baptist Church.
We want to send a huge Thank You to everyone that participated and to those that stood in the snow to enjoy the parade.
